Google + is set to launch soon. While in the testing phases right now Google + may possibly slam Facebook!
So what is Google + you may ask? Well it is everything Facebook is and then some. Only a few have been invited to check the current Google + project out so far so let me tell you the good the bad and the ugly.
You will be able to follow people like you do in Twitter but without their permission.
Your people will be divided into circles and you can post individually by circles. This is helpful because you can be selective about which posts go to which people.
Sparks: will let you monitor web content that you have collected by keyword and share it with your circles. This information will stay fresh and be updated daily.
Hangouts: will allow you to do an up to 15 party web conference!
Chat: will allow you to run Google Chat with your circles in a small window.
Stream: this is the hub for both your posts and the posts for others in your circles. As per typical Google style this will be set up in an easy to view manner.
It will be interesting to see which how this new Google project fairs. Many feel that Google is dangerous due to privacy issues, I am not sure if this will put a damper in the growth of the + project once it launches.
