After talking with many start up business owners and reviewing their websites the one thing that has become noticeable to me is many of them have no idea who or what SEO is. So just in case you are one of those people let me start off by saying that SEO is not a person but instead an acronym.
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is “a strategy in which a website is designed to obtain favorable search engine rankings from popular search engines.”
Simply put the better the SEO on your site the higher your ranking in the search engines like Google, Ask.com, Bing, etc. If you have been trying to figure out why your site isn’t listed on the first page of your Google search, SEO is probably your problem.
